Meet the Founder

Dr. Jeannette Rodriguez, PhD, CMHC, LPCC, is a somatic depth psychologist and licensed mental health counselor with over 20 years of clinical experience. Her path began in neuroscience — as a neurofeedback technician in a mental health clinic, leading to work as a sleep study technician for a neurologist and then to a hospital-based neurodiagnostic EEG technician monitoring pediatric epilepsy and brain injury patients — before evolving into a career that weaves together neurofeedback, somatic therapy, and depth psychology.

She holds a PhD in Somatic Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, along with master's degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapy. She is a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, an EMDR practitioner, and trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy — bringing a truly integrative, mind-body approach to every client she sees.

Dr. Rodriguez has spent two decades serving diverse and often underserved communities — from tribal health programs to correctional mental health settings — always centering culturally responsive, trauma-informed care. She started her counseling clinic, Goat Mountain Counseling, in Salt Lake City, UT in 2019 and eventually expanded services throughout Utah and New Mexico. She is happy to call Santa Fe her newly found home. Proudly neurodivergent herself, she brings both deep clinical expertise and lived experience to her work with clients who think, feel, and process differently.
